Privacy Policy

When you use the contact form on the website you may choose to include your name, contact number and/or email address. This information is stored in a dedicated, password protected email account  accessible by Peace Inside. 

Your personal information will be used for the specific reason of being able to respond to the contact and/or facilitate the booking of an appointment. If no contract is entered into between you and Peace Inside all emails will be deleted within 30 days subsequent to the last correspondence. Should a contract be entered into this correspondence will form part of the client records held in accordance with statutory and regulatory guidelines. 

In order to provide a quality professional treatment it is necessary to hold some client records on file. These records are coded to protect the identity of the client and stored in a secure location in accordance with IAHIP code of ethics. You have the right to request a copy of your records held on file, please initiate such a request in writing with a hand signed letter to the Managing Director.

Confidentiality is a cornerstone of psychotherapy and records will not be shared except in limited circumstances and always after consultation with the client. In accordance with current legislation there may be an obligation to disclose personal information to the relevant authorities if:

1. The client poses a risk to themselves or others.

2. If there is a disclosure of identifying information of a perpetrator of child sex abuse.

3. If there is a legally binding court request for records.

From time to time a client may request that some details be shared with particular parties in the form of a report or letter, such requests must be made in writing and hand signed by the client. Any and all requests for documentation will be discussed with the client and where possible only agreed to with the clients consent subject to previously stated conditions. No records will ever be shared with any commercial organisation.
